Hello world..please join me tomorrow as I host a fundraiser event for Houston City Council Woman Jolanda Jones. The event will be held at Azul's Lounge to help raise money for her campaign. Friends, family, and colleagues will join together to celebrate and support the work that Jones’ is continuing to do for the Houston community. As elections are drawing near we are asking you to come and help us celebrate, as well as raise money for the 2011-2012 campaign on June 28, 2011.

Jones has been a vital force behind many of the changes in the dealings of minority business. She has been the voice for minority business owners since she began her term as a city council member. Advocating for proper justice among minorities Jones has demonstrated time and time again why we continue to elect her as Houston City Council member. Fighting, for those that feel they have no voice has been what Jones has been about since her reign. I have a surprise for you, but the only way you will be able to experience the surprise..is if you are there, so I can't wait to see you! :)
