Green was raised in District K and has lived in the district his entire life. As a leader of a non-profit organization, Green has dedicated himself to bringing jobs to the city of Houston. His primary focus include the following:

2. Ensuring safe neighborhoods
3. Infrastructure improvements
4. Ensuring District K receives fair share of the city's resources
Green graduated from the University of Houston and Texas Southern University's Thurgood Marshall School of Law. He has been an attorney for the City of Houston since 1992.
