Sunday, September 28, 2010 the Dallas Cowboys battled it out with the Houston Texans taking home the win 27-13. Until yesterday the Cowboys faced the  Texans, who held a 2-0 record to the Cowboys 0-2 record.  Although, Dallas was not highly  favored before this game they still came out with a sense of entitlement.  Fans left with confidence  that the Cowboys does have what it takes to win games. They lived up to thier name as "AMERICA'S TEAM." No one would have imagined that Dallas would have upset Houston in their hometown and in their stadium. Both Texas teams had something to prove who would be crowned the winner of what some has been calling "The Texas Superbowl." The Texans left their turf pondering the question, "how could we let Dallas beat us?" (I know right!) The Cowboys  were bound to come back this week ready to play. They've seen their share of disappointment this season, but what better way to refocus and regroup than coming out and giving the Texans something that was unexpected. Many sceptics did not expect Dallas to play well, let alone win. Considerinig all the issues the Cowboys have had I cant blame the haters. The upset would have been better had they been in Dallas. At least, Dallas could have won on their own field. It makes the win far more exciting to know that Houston was beat at home and on thier field. (CONSIDERING THEIR RECORD)

Andre Johnson and Orlando Scandrick

Tony Romo had 284 passing yards completing 27 of 30 passes. with two touchdowns, and Roy Williams also had two touchdowns along with 117 yards receiving; this game was his best game in his NFL career.  Andre Johnson caught just four passes for 64 yards, and the Cowboys claimed their first three turnovers of the season. Houston did their best to run thier offense, averaging 440.5 yards and 32 points, to a pair of field goals before yielding a garbage-time TD, but the Cowboys defense just wouldnt let up. They continued to hold Dallas and it was as if Dallas came back with an overwhelming need to win this game. Even some of their dearest fans were beginning to doubt the Cowboys and thier capability to win. This win was imperative to the state of Texas, this game was the most anticipated game for the state of Texas. Sources were telling me that tickets were sky-rocketing to  $600.00, just for a seat in the Reliant Stadium. Now I can say I'm thrilled for the Cowboys my only wish now is that they keep this momentum going. "Let's Go Cowboys!"
