A trajic shooting in Crockett, Texas on Monday night led to the death of a 28 year old man. KTRE Channel 9, was on hand to gather the story behind the shooting of Aundra Hamilton. A shooting that many in the community have deemed as unbelievable.
Crockett Police are investigating a shooting death of a man Monday night. One suspect, Tony Robinson, 43, of Crockett, was arrested and charged with murder.
According to a Crockett Police press release, Aundra Fonta Hamilton, 28, of Crockett, knocked on the door at 107 Alex McMearn Street around 8 p.m. Robinson answered the door and an argument ensued between the two.
Crockett Police believe during the argument, Robinson used a pistol to shoot Hamilton.
One more thing, let's get together and pray for Mr. Robinson, we do not know what was going through his mind. (Not that it matters, but..still..pray for people and forgive them) God loves us and He forgives us..I challenge each of you to live your life a little more worthwhile. Take time out for each other because one day you're here and then the next day, you're gone!

A justice of the peace pronounced Hamilton dead at the scene.
Texas Ranger Jim Huggins and the Houston County Sheriff's Office are assisting in the investigation.
Robinson is being held in the Houston County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
Burton says he was with his cousin when they knocked on the door to ask Robinson a question.
"Just some questions that we were just going to talk and just chill," Burton said. "I don't know if he had something on his mind and got mad or angry."
Some neighbors say Hamilton and Robinson had been drinking that day.
"I lost a brother that there isn't no way that I could bring him back and my mom done lost a son," said Hamilton's sister, Anitikia Hamilton. "But his wife, they can go visit him. I can't go visit my brother."
My prayers go out to the Hamilton family in their time of need. May God be with you.
Now to the people in Crockett, Texas.... please, let's stop the violence. We are not God, therefore stop trying to do his job. The Bible plainly states, ( Exodus 20:13) Thy Shall Not Kill!
John 10:10 tells us that, "The devil comes to kill, steal, and destroy!" It's time to wake up! I have read most of the FaceBook pages of most of my hometown friends and we are all saying the same thing. I challenge each of you to be a little nicer, smile a little harder. Violence is continuing to tear down our city. Whatever happen to a good ol' fight? There is a winner and a loser, right? To kill someone for whatever reason is never a good look. On another note, be mindful of the company you keep. The devil is tricky, he smiles in your face and tells you what you want to hear. He feeds into all the sinful desires that we carry around. Stay prayed up, sometimes we might not even see the enemy after us, but our Father does!
This is not the first violent incident to occur in Crockett, this is one of many and somewhere down the line this type of behavior must come to an end. I will never understand, how people just go off the wire and kill somebody that they have grown up with or know from the neighborhood.
Crockett is a place where everybody knows everybody. Families have raised their kids in Crockett for many generations and to see this type of behavior is unacceptable. We have to do better, as people and as a community. Please stop the violence. There are more things to do with your time, then live the life of an idle mind. Faith with no works is dead. (James 2:20)
