Pacer's Rookie Arrested For Pushing Girlfriend Down A Flight of Stairs

Indiana Pacer's Rookie, Lance Stephenson was arrested for pushing girlfriend Jasmine Williams, the mother of his child, down a flight of stairs at her Brooklyn apartment. She was rushed to the hospital and treated for head and neck injuries. The 6-foot-5 NBA player was arrested and released after an appearance in a Brooklyn Criminal Courtroom. Stephenson was charged with  second- and third-degree assault, third-degree menacing, third-degree attempted assault, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, and second-degree harassment. Today, he was released and will have to appear in court on October 19 for further arrangement regarding this case.

This is not Stephenson's first run-in with the law, nor is it his first time running into problems with keeping his hands to himself. In 2008, he was arrested and plead guilty to disorderly conduct for groping a girl at Brooklyn's Abraham Lincoln High School. The issue resulted in him losing his seat as the first round draft and he went into the second  round draft, due to his off-court antics.

Why is that in relationships people can not keep their hands to themselves? Does rage and anger have to have the last say? Today  there are no limitation, women and men are victims of domestic violence. Where does it end? When does it stop? Is it even worth it?
